London Pub Crawl [Jan. 4th, 2010|02:06 pm]
Miss M
Hello everyone,
I haven't written in this in a gazillion of years but what better intro than to propose that we organise a London pub crawl for February? Looking at old crawls it seems to have become the annual pub crawl. At Alex and Hanna's NY party, Hanna suggested that I should organise it and I am happy to so do. To kick things of, just one question - the date!
Which of the following dates would suit people:
February: Sat 13th, Sat 20th or Sat 27th? I hope that as many people can make it so let me know.
I will follow this up with a discussion on themes etc on the semi-defunct londonpubcrawl on Facebook.
I hope to see you all folks early this year - we can treat this as a reunion as we haven't seen each other in ages!

Is it a London crawl one where everyone is invited? If so we can postpone this one until the summer.

Or birthday related?

Crawl might be a bit too literal for me, but I shall try and pop in to at least one place if I can. 13th is bad as I assume it will be proxy-Valentine and also I have an essay due in on the 15th.

Loads of my friends have mid-February birthdays, so I will undoubtedly have birthday parties to go to on every single one of those Saturdays. But if by chance I don't (they might all have their parties on the same Saturday I suppose) then I'll come on the pub crawl!

Looks to me that we might need to move it further along perhaps March? Also, I don't think it will be hardcore crawling, just a chance to visit a few well-chosen pubs and get together!

Yes, move it further. I can't do the 27th.

I can do all except the 13th. Thumbs up for the crawl idea, I've been missing them!

In that case the 27th sounds like the best option, gives some space after the 13th for Cat to join too!

Idea: approved. No idea what dates I can and can't do, though, so if you all manage to organise one I'll try and get along. Hurrah!

I'd like to come but wouldn't be able to make the 27th (I'll be being spoiled in North on account of my birthday being the day after).
March and a Facebook event so I don't forget please!

All right guys, turns out I'm meant to be working on the 27th as well so I am now suggesting Sat 20th February as the only available date in Feb!
Otherwise it will have to be March - so final objections against the 20th?

Go for it - bang out a Facebook invite for the 20th - if it's unpopular, there's still time to change it for March
